Walmart International

We have momentum in our international business with a footprint in some of the fastest-growing markets in the world. We have a simple strategy for running Walmart International. It’s to build strong local businesses that are powered by Walmart. This strategy works because no matter where we operate our customers want similar things. They want to know that they can access the things they need. They want ease and convenience. Our unique combination of stores, digital businesses, and global sourcing work together to make this real for customers and helps them save money and live better.

We’re different where we have to be, but alike where we can be and we’re leveraging expertise, technology and talent across Walmart globally. We’re building out our ecosystems everywhere we operate. Walmex, our business in Mexico and Central America, leverages what we’re learning in Walmart U.S. to build its own subscription-based service for the delivery of a wide range of items, called Walmart Pass. Walmart U.S., Walmart Chile and others learn from the expertise at PhonePe to create easier ways to pay online and in stores. Walmart Canada is an incubator for sustainability and what we learn there and across our company gives us an opportunity to lead on regeneration. No matter where we do business, Walmart International is focused on delighting our customers by creating value for them and for the company as a whole.
